Day 01 Arrival Kathmandu (1,350 m)
When you land at the International airport in Kathmandu, our hotel representative will be waiting outside the airport terminal. Then he will drive you to the hotel, and after resting there for a while, we will have a short briefing about the trek. Later you can explore around Thamel, which is a tourist hub of Kathmandu.
Day 02 Drive to Soti-Khola 730 m (730 m)
After breakfast, we leave for Dhading Besi from Kathmandu, which is about 3 hours drive. On the way, you will pass by many small villages and rivers. From Dhading Besi, we drive to Soltikhola, the starting point of the trek, for about 5 hours. The road is bumpy and winding dirt.
Day 03 Trek to Machha-Khola 930 m (930 m)
We start our trek heading toward Machha Khola(river), which is about 6 hours walk. The trail goes full of ups and downs through narrow and rocky fields. We will pass through many beautiful waterfalls and cross Labubesi village (a Gurung community).
Day 04 Trek to Jagat 1,410 m (1,410 m)
We start walking across the path on the bank of Budi Gandaki. Entering the forest, you will see many monkeys and langurs. Walking further, we will reach a hot spring called Tatopani, where you can take a warm shower. After crossing some bridges and walking ups and downs, we will reach Jagat, a Gurung Village. You have to verify your trekking permit at the check post before entering this village.
Day 05 Trek to Dyang 1,800 m (1,800 m)
Today’s trek starts from Jagat and ends at Dyang. The snow-capped trail will be engrossed us with impressive waterfalls on either side of the valley. As we poll towards the northward, traversing the terraced fields to Ekle Bhatti. We enter a steep, deserted gorge, and then we descend to the grasslike land incline with lofty pine trees thwarting the Budhi Gandaki overbridge. As we travel along the occident bank, we will see the Shar Khola and the Tsum Valley that connect the Budhi Gandaki on the opposite bank. The trail takes us to the occidental side where the valley ultimately widens, and we have a pleasant walk through the bamboo sylvan to Dyang.
Day 06 Trek to Namrung (2,630m)
You will start your trek towards Namrung from Dyang. You will have your meal and then continue your journey to various landscapes of the region. The winding path will take you to various small village settlements from Dyang.
After trekking on a trail that takes you uphill and downhill, we will reach the log bridge. After the bridge crossing, you will arrive at an isolated watermill. From this point, you will descend to Bihi Phedi. You will descend and cross the Serang Khola on a small bridge.
There are winding routes that will take you to basalt walls. You will pass through the maze and wheat fields, as there are small waterfalls in the region. The northeastern trails widen the valley as there is a beautiful river that you will cross through a suspension bridge.
You will arrive at Ghap, after crossing a bridge. From there, you will pass through the lush green forest with rhododendrons and pine trees. Then the trail descends above the river, as you will trek alongside the north bank. After crossing the river and walking alongside the banks, you will arrive at Namrung.
This incredible Tibetan village is also the gateway to Upper Nupri. You will spend the night at Namrung teahouse. This part of the trek takes you to an entire rural territory with a chance to observe the traditional and ancient local culture. The culture in the region is relatively well influenced by Tibetan culture as you can watch various landmarks in Mani walls, chortens, and others.
Day 07 Trek to Lo-Gaon 3,180 m (3,180 m)
We oblique the stiff overbridge over Budhi Gandaki as we chase the footway lined with the household that is broadcast with cultured fields. As we begin the upper Nupri, the idiom changes to Tibetan. The pursue has mani rampart, which is beautifully carven as the Tibetan educate stands out. We journey through a woodland of firs, rhododendrons, and oaks, promptly after, exceeding through a stone arch and entering the Lihi exhibit, the extraordinary workmanship of this neighborhood. Day 08 Trek to Sama-Gaon 3,530 m (3,530 m)
We start our trek walking across the Hinan river, originating from Linda Glacier, and continue to Sho. We can have an amazing view of Naike Peak, Manaslu North (7,774 m) and Manaslu (8,150 m). After some hours of walking, we reach Lho Gaon, a beautiful village with a nice view of Mt. Manaslu. Reaching the top of the hill, we can look around the Buddhist monastery Ribung Gompa. From there we head towards our destination i.e, Samagaon.
Day 09 Rest day at Sama-Gaon for acclimatization
Today is an acclimation day at Samagaon, so we utilize this time exploring around the village. We can either visit Pungyen Gompa and glacial Lake Birendra Tal (4-5 hours), or we can take a walk to Manaslu Base Camp and return to Samagaon (7-8 hours).
Day 10 Trek to Samdo 3,860 (3,860 m)
Another day of the trek starts heading to another destination i.e., Samdo. It is going to be a short day trek because you are in high altitude and you need to walk slowly. Along with the variety of birds, you will see extended yak pastures and long mani walls. We continue leaving the tree line and ascend to a ridge across the wooden bridge of Buri Gandaki, which will take us to white Kani. Upon reaching Samdo, we explore nearby villages and hike to Samdo Peak.
Day 11 Trek to Dharamsala / Larkya phedi 4,470 m (4,470 m)
This new day is going to be another adventurous day in the high altitude. The trail to Dharmasala is quite similar to the path from Sama Gaun to Samdo. Dharmashala is also known as Larke Phedi. Enjoying the scenic views of some of the best-snowcapped mountains, you will walk slowly across the rugged terrains of the Manaslu region before you reach Dharmasala. There is one small stone guest house here, which gives the basic facility of flooding, and the lodging will be in dormitory styled rooms.
Day 12 Trek to Larkya-la 5,106 m and to Bimthang 3,720 m (3,720 m)
After a good breakfast, we start to climb towards Cho Chanda and then slowly head steeply uphill towards the snowed-up pass. From the top, the panorama is magnificent: Himlung Himal (, Cheo Himal, Gyagi Kung, Kang Kuru and the Annapurna II. The descent is steep, through moraines, towards Bhimtang. We stay overnight at Bhimtang.
Day 13 Trek to Gho 2,560 m (2,560 m)
After breakfast, we step down towards Gho, which is about 5 hours walk. Passing through the sub-tropical jungle and rural village, we reach Gho. On the way, enjoy the beautiful view of Mt. Manaslu. People here are mostly doing agriculture and animal husbandry.
Day 14 Trek to Dharapani 1,860 m (1,860 m)
This is the final day of your trekking in Manaslu Circuit. We climb downhill through the forest of rhododendron bushes and reach Karch, where we take our lunch. As we continue to hike the path becomes quite rough, there will be signs of a glacial flood, with tree trunks smashed and banks undermined. We pass through fields and copses of oak and rhododendron and continue to walk till we reach Dharapani.
Day 15 Drive to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotels. (1,345 m)
After a good breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu via Beshisahar. Road up to Besisahar is rough and bumpy but then onwards, it will become smoother. You will enjoy the sceneries of hills and rivers along the highway, we reach Kathmandu after 9 hours of drive, and you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening, in your leisure time, you can explore around the Thamel area.
Day 16 Final departure day.
It’s the final day of yours in Nepal. We will pick you from the hotel and drive you to Kathmandu International Airport according to your flight schedule. We will always remember those moments we spent together and wish you all the best for your future life. Have a safe flight back home.
