Mera Peak Climbing in Nepal is the second most popular climbing trekking peak voyage. The first is the Island peak climbing. Both of these mountains are in the Khumbu region of Nepal. However, Island and Mera Peaks are located in completely different areas. Island Peak Climbing takes the normal Everest Base Camp Trekking route while Mera takes a different route from Lukla. Instead of walking towards Phakding the climbers walk towards the Paiya village. After meeting the climbing crew members in Lukla the walking journey starts.

Most importantly trekkers will explore the different villages of different attractions on this trip. For the Lobuche and Island Peak Climbing, the journey is similar to all other Everest trekking. However, Mera is completely different. It follows through the green lush forests, deeper valleys, and rugged terrain. Paiya Pangom, Ninngsow, Chhatrakhola, Kothe, Thaknak and Khare are the major villages on this trip. Once climbers reach Khare the acclimatization starts. Climbers will be given the instructions by the Sherpa and climbing leaders. This is the last habitation place before the Mera Base Camp. Needed supplies will be transported to the base camp by the crew members.

The trail leading up to the top of the Mera is very easy as in most of the places you don’t need the man to fix rope. Don’t become overconfident. Even if the peak is labeled as the easy trekking peak there are numerous crevasses. Therefore, always heed the instructions of the climbing guide. From the top of the mountain, one can behold the sights of mountains as far as Mt. Makalu. This is truly magnificent.

Mera Peak Climbing in Nepal is equally famous for the Ski Lovers as well. This is the only peak where people can enjoy skiing. Lots of skiing expedition groups have already done the amazing skiing adventure in Mera peak. Adventure Victory Team can arrange for such a tour as well. While returning back to Lukla relish the beautiful Lukla Valley from the top of the hill. This is truly the most splendid alternative route of the Khumbu region of Nepal. Book the Mera Peak Climbing in Nepal with us and leave your footprints at the top of the snowcapped mountain of Nepal.
