Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu - (1,350 m)
When you arrive at the Kathmandu International airport, the staff of the Adventure Victory Team will meet you there and escort you to the chosen hotel. Have some rest, and get familiar with the surrounding. In the evening, there will be an orientation about the details of the trek. After the meeting, enjoy your time exploring the surroundings or go to a nice restaurant and eat some delicious food.
Day 2 Sightseeing tour around Kathmandu
Kathmandu has been a popular destination for tourists and is the cultural heart of Nepal. You can find the combination of Hinduism, Buddhism, and western influence in the city. We will be visiting the most famous as well as the most significant Hindu shrine of Pashupati, Boudhanath, Swayambhunath, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. Get back to the hotel after tour and preparation for the next day trip.
Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Arughat Bazaar - (5,35 m)
We will have an 8-9 hrs bus or private jeep ride to Arughat Bazaar in the Gorkha district from Kathmandu. You will find the Arughat village in two parts, on opposite sides of the Buri Gandaki. Arughat Bazaar is large as well as clean, and there are many hotels and shops selling cloth, hardware, and food. Overnight at the lodge.
Day 4 Trek to Khursani - 6 hrs trek
Today on the first day of our trek, we follow the banks of Budi Gandaki River and pass through Gurung villages & farming fields on our way to Kurseni. We suggest you wear light clothes for the reason that the day could be hot and bothersome due to low elevation. Overnight at the local tea house in Khursani.
Day 5 Trek to Jagat - (1410m) - 8 hrs trek
After breakfast, we start our trek heading for Jagat following the same Budi Gandaki river. We pass by some gorges of Budi Gandaki River and some passing some gorges of Budi Gandaki River and some lesser cultivated areas. Now onwards, the trail gradually goes uphill. After about trekking for 8 hours, we will enter the restricted area of Jagat. Today, we will be entering in the restricted areas of Jagat. Overnight at the local tea house in Jagat.
Day 6 Trek to Lhokpa - (2,240m) - 7-8 hrs Trek
Following the same river, today, we will head to Lhokpa. We will walk through narrow valleys and green vegetation. The path offers you to have a nice view of Mt. Ganesh and Mt. Shringi. You will reach Lhokpa after trekking for 7-8 hours. Stay at the local tea house in Lhokpa at night.
Day 7 Trek to Chumling - (2,390 m) - 3 hrs trek
After having breakfast, we head for Chumling, walking for about 3 hours. Still following the same river, we will be walking on the bank of Budi Gandaki River for Manaslu round trekking. We take our lunch on the way and continue our trek through the lesser-known route of Tsum Valley. The trail mostly goes through the forest and some Gurung villages. We will camp at a Gurung village. Overnight at a local tea house.
Day 8 Trek to Chokangparo - (3,010 m) - 4 hrs trek
From Chumling, we head to Chhokangparo. Upper Tsum valley (part of the Inner Himalaya) open from Chhokangparo. Chhokamparo is a village situated on flat land and consists of two settlements Chhekam and Paro. From here, you can see Ganesh Himal range to the south, and it also provides superb views of the Baudha and Himal chuli peaks to the south-west. Some households in this village practice polyandry. Overnight at our teahouse lodge.
Day 9 Trek to Lama Gaon - (3,240 m) - 2 hrs trek
From Chokangparo, we trek to Lama Gaun, which takes about 2-3 hours of short walking. We ascend through the local villages and wider cultivated land and pine forest in some parts. It will take around 3 hours to reach Lama Gaun, where we can visit Milarepa cave monastery, 45 minutes walk from the campsite. Overnight at a local tea house.
Day 10 Trek to Mu-Gumpa - (3,700 m) - 4 hrs trek
From Lama Gaon, the trail starts to ascend to Mu Gumba, the largest monastery of this area. Established in 1895 AD, Mu Gumba is situated at a height of 3510m. The monastery holds images of Guru Padmasambhava and Tarareligious books, including Kangyur, a life-sized statue of Avalokiteshwara. The history of the monastery is directly linked with the dawn of Buddhism in the valley. The monastery is run by Lama Serap of Nile Ladrang from the Kangin sect. You can find a few campsites and drinking water facilities nearby. We stay at the lodge at night.
Day 11 Trek to Bajyo - (4,030 m) - 5 hrs trek
We will be walking on Narrow and Cliffy trails ascending to Bajyo. So the trekkers need to be connected and careful while walking. The trail passes through Lakpa and Kalung Kharka. Overnight at camp.
Day 12 Leisure Day
Today we will have a free day at Bajyo. We will go toward the border and spend some time there. Nguladhojyang pass is the trade route between Nepal and Tibet, which is at 5,093 meters. It is your choice either to visit it or take some more rest at the camp. But if you walk up to the top then, you can see beautiful landscapes of Tibet plateau around Kerung, which is the border of Nepal & Tibet along Syabrubesi. For your easiness, our crew will provide you packed lunch on the top. After enjoying some sightseeing at the top, we will come back to camp. Overnight at the local tea house with all meals.
Day 13 Back to Rachen Gumpa - (3,240 m) - 5 hrs Trek
From Bajyo, we follow the trail to Rachen Gumba, a nunnery. The nunnery is located in the Shiar Khola Valley in the foothills of the mountains bordering Nepal and Tibet. Rachen Gumba is one of the largest nunneries in the Tsum Valley and was established in the year 1905 AD. Nuns here, belong to the Ngak-pa sect, which does not allow animal slaughter. The nunnery houses one thousand clay, molded statues of Avalokiteshwara, a large prayer wheels and brightly colored, carved throne and pillar. The center is richly painted with murals about Buddhism and its history. We stay overnight at our teahouse lodge.
Day 14 Trek to Chumling - (2,390 m) - 6 hrs Trek
From the Rachen Gompa, trails follow above the river {Shiar Khola} to be joined by the next trail on the same route up for Lama Gaun village at 3219m. Overnight at a local tea house.
Day 15 Trek to Philim
]After having our breakfast, we will begin our journey for Philim. We will walk down through a green forest up to Philim. And we will stay overnight at a local tea house with all meals.
Day 16 Trek to Lhapubesi
It is another day of trekking, and we will head towards Lhapubesi after having breakfast. It is about 6 hours walk. We stay overnight at the local lodge.
Day 17 Trek to Arughat
Today is the last day of our trek. So, we will follow the same path which we took in the staring of the trek. In Arughat, we will board our vehicles for Kathmandu. Stay overnight at guest houses.
Day 18 Drive back to Kathmandu
From Aurghat, we will drive back to Kathmandu. You will have a lot of leisure time. Enjoy the dinner in Nepali Kitchen from our company in the evening with come cultural dances performed by the locals. Overnight stay at the hotel and packing as you are leaving Nepal tomorrow.
Day 19 Departure to your home
Our office team will take you to the airport for your flight home. If you want to stay longer, you can go for short tours like drive at National parks, maybe a Tibet tour, or wild water rafting, or even a thrilling mountain bike ride through some of Nepal’s urban trails. We at Adventure Victory Team would like to wish you a safe journey home. Take care and farewell till we meet again.
